Con il termine spike ci si riferisce a un improvviso e repentino incremento nell’andamento di una qualsiasi variabile che normalmente si attesta su valori notevolmente più bassi.
Osservandone l’andamento su un grafico, uno spike è un picco, una vetta, che può verificarsi a seguito di un’evento esterno o di una perturbazione, così come per cause del tutto sconosciute e, perciò, imprevedibili. Spike, pertanto, è una zine che si pone come recettore di impulsi e ricerche tanto imprevedibili quanto inevitabili e propri di qualsiasi variabile apparentemente “stabile”.

The term spike refers to a sudden and sharp increase in the trend of any variable that is on average at much lower values.
Observing this trend on a time line, a spike is a peak, a tip, that can be due to an occurring external event or a disturbance, as well as an unknown, and hence unpredictable, reason. Therefore, Spike is a zine that wants to intercept impulses and researches that are unpredictable as well as inevitable, just like any seemingly “stable” variable is.

Domitio Studios è un processo soggettivo di vivisezione che mette in mostra il Litorale Domitio attraverso i suoi paradossi e le sue schizofrenie, rendendoli progetto. È un manifesto retroattivo del passato e la messa a sistema degli scarti che questo ha prodotto.
Domitio Studios è alimentato dai rifiuti del turismo, sempre in attesa di un destino che non si compie mai. Reinterpretarli in prospettiva cinematografica potrebbe forse introdurre una gerarchia di valori alternativa, non convenzionale.
Il Litorale Domitio è il luogo degli ossimori che coesistono e delle finzioni che si affollano. La questione che vogliamo sollevare è se trasformarlo in degli Studios possa rappresentare l'idea di città di cui il Litorale sembra essere privo.
Domitio Studios è una macchina generatrice di infiniti immaginari, tenuta insieme da una visione strategica e da un'infrastruttura aerea. È una Cura Ludovico al contrario che cerca di introdurre l'autoconsapevolezza come spinta per un'autopoietica rinascita.

Domitio Studios is a subjective process of vivisection that showcases Litorale Domitio through its paradoxes and schizophrenias, turning them into a project. It is a manifesto of the past and a systematic arrangement of the waste it has produced.
Domitio Studios is fueled by the waste products of tourism, which are always waiting for a fate that is never fulfilled.
Reinterpreting the wrecks that make up the Litorale in a cinematic perspective could perhaps introduce an unconventional hierarchy of values.
Litorale Domitio is the place of coexisting oxymorons and clustering fictions. The question that we want to raise is whether turning it into Domitio Studios can become the urban concept that the Litorale seems to be lacking of.
Domitio Studios is a generating machine of endless imaginaries, held together by a strategic vision and an aerial infrastructure. It is a reverse Ludovico technique that tries to introduce self-awareness as an urge for an autopoietic rebirth.
