DRY (DiARC Research Yearbook) is the annual publication of the research, teaching activities,
and third mission initiatives of all DiARC researchers and professors. It is intended to be published biennially in order to monitor and critically assess DiARC research practices. Emma Maglio is Associate Professor of History of Architecture at DiARC. Her research deals with early modern urban and architectural history of Southern Italy, Greek islands and the Mediterranean. She was Marie Skłodowska-Curie Post-PhD fellow at the IMS-Forth in Rethymno, Post-PhD fellow at the Maison Méditerranéenne des Sciences de l’Homme of Aix-en-Provence and chercheur résident at the ENS of Lyon.
Giovanni Menna is Associate Professor of History of Architecture at DiARC. For more than thirty years, he has been conducting studies and research on the culture of modern project from the 18th century to the present, with particular focus on 20th century architecture in Europe and Naples, the history of urban design between the 18th and 19th centuries and the history of architectural historiography and criticism.
Michelangelo Russo is Full Professor of Urban Planning at DiARC, of which he has been Director since 2019. His research’s field concerns the contemporary urban planning project in relation to the mutations of the city, of urbanized territories, of landscapes, on the interaction between environmental issues, space and society, new ecologies, with an orientation aimed at the revision of forms and models of urban planning project.
